Vicki van der Meer
Functional Medicine Practitioner
BHSc (Nat), GCEBCM, AFMCP

With more than ten years in clinical practice, Vicki brings a wealth of insight and care to her work as a functional medicine practitioner. She works with people experiencing a broad range of health concerns, from digestive and thyroid issues to hormonal and autoimmune conditions, as well as challenges related to fatigue and women’s health.
Vicki is known for her genuine, person-centred approach. She listens deeply to understand each individual’s unique story, exploring the root causes of imbalance to support meaningful, lasting change. Drawing on nutrition, lifestyle strategies, and evidence-based therapies, she helps her patients rebuild vitality and restore optimal function.
Her professional background includes seven years at Endeavour College of Natural Health, where she lectured and supervised final-year Nutrition and Naturopathy students. She has also played an active role in the profession through her contributions to the Naturopaths and Herbalists Association of Australia and the Australian Naturopathic Summit. Earlier in her career, Vicki worked in health information management and healthcare technology – experience that gives her a valuable understanding of both clinical systems and the realities of modern working life.
Collaborating with Vicki offers a thoughtful, science-informed partnership in health – one grounded in curiosity, compassion, and practical steps toward genuine wellbeing.

“What gets me up in the morning (apart from Nick Cave songs, and dark chocolate!) is the beauty of natural health and healthy living. The combination of technical investigation and common-sense lifestyle changes can make for profound healing. It’s an honour to share important health information with people.”
